A walk in the park ( in pictures)

a few weeks ago I took a few hours and walked to Breakneck Pond on the Union/Southbridge town line.

Daily Happy: Shameless Dad Blog

My critics have been quick to point out that, like the puzzler, Ashford Living has been on vacation for a few weeks. Well, it's back!

We've been up to a lot in the past few weeks, and Robby just keeps getting bigger

"I don't know nuthin'. You'll never get it out of me."

"not the ice cream! anything but the ice ream!"

Ty Cobb Salad: So Bad, yet So good

Christina is a Cobb Salad fan. Me, not so much. When she made the ingredients and lined them up on the plate, she said she felt like it was going to be, well, meh. And it was a lot of working putting it together. Plus we had this on Thursday, so it meant she had to shovel it in before school.

Then we ate it.

Verdict: Amazingly good.

The dressing has blue cheese in it: you could eat a shoe if it were smothered in it. And there's bacon. Need I say more? No, but the farm fresh lettuce and spinach sealed the deal. Home run -- and it'll spike the third baseman on the way past because he threw it out the last time through the line up and then insult the fan in the third row who has a ghastly looking wife -- because it's that good. It can get away with it.
