Finally, a bit of winter in winter

It's been an interesting couple of years as far as New England weather. 2 years ago we had 3 winters in one. Last year we had winter in fall and then spring all winter long. This year....a White Christmas and what looks like the start of a real winter. They call it Bombogenesis.

We got 10-12 inches, about.

Backyard snow bowl

Inside snow bowl. Tasty

First snow, delicious

Reading a little with Dad.

Hanging with my buddy.

It's not Christmas without.....

It's not Christmas without:

Cookies for Santa

Cookies for Robby!

Cheese steaks for dinner

Tater Tots for Robby

Trimmed tree ready for presents

Tree ready for Santa's visit

Babies tucked in.

Merry Christmas to All and to All a good night!

Christimas 2.0 (technically 1.25)

Last year Christmas was wonderful, but Robby was new and not really in tune with what was going on. This year, it was so different: He got it right away! He had a blast with the toys. He was so excited to open his presents. Having the tiny tubbs adds a whole new meaning to Christmas.

PRESENTS!

Look at the tunnel

This is great!

I think I could get used to this...

"I got Ketchup"

"I love this stuff"

"More Fries, Please"

And he now knows over 50 words and is starting to use 2 word sentences. Baby Genius.

The Essex Wharf -- Duck! BIRDS!

Well, any trip to a river museum wouldn't be complete without attacking the locals with a stick and learning to throw rocks into the water. Enjoy!

This way to fun, mom

At the dock

Staring out into the river

BIRD!

BIRD BIRD BIRD BIRD BIRD!

Come back --  I have a stick. Don't be scared. It's a stick.

Another Bird. BIRD BIRD BIRD!

I'm coming!

Found an anchor

Let me throw more rocks, Mom.

Dad's rock.

I'm going to get me that bird.

Mom's rock too

Throwing rocks

Such a nice day down by the river. Time for Lunch.
