#TBT: Shameless Dad Re-Post

Here's a look at the first blog after the arrival of our little guy. AS we get ready to party for hi birthday this weekend, it's nice to take a look at how it all began.

So this is the Little Guy

I was wondering a few weeks back who exactly this new fellow we'd been building a new room for was going to be. As of 6:17 yesterday afternoon (9/28/2011) the wait was over. My beautiful and amazing, hardworking and talented wife gave birth to our 7lbs, 12oz, 19" long son:

Robert James Davis

"Robby"

I can say, with certainty, that unlike his father, he's really cute!.

An we're all so excited he's arrived. Show them how excited you are about your new cousin, Dylan:

Yeah!!!

Loveable little flabby skinned, tiny human--and it just keeps getting better the more we get to know him.

Hiccups and sneezes, burps and cooing. You just can't beat it. I'm the happiest guy in town!

Here are some pictures of the sleeping beauties:

Stay tuned--I'm a new father with a blogspot account: Game on!

A Fair day in Brooklyn

Another year, another trip to the Brooklyn Fair. We had a great day for it this year, and we got there early on a Saturday to beat the crowds. Plus, Robby won the cutest picture contest again, but we had left too soon to collect the prize. Probably was a T-shirt.

The prize winning shot. Does that say all american boy or what?

What to do first?

How about a ride?!?

Smiles all around!

Next, the the animals. Shear enjoyment. Get it?

Who you looking at, sheep?

Sounded like barn animals

#TBT: Shameless Dad Re-post

A look back at our camping trip on 2103 when Christina and I climbed to Sterling Pond with a baby on my back.

40 lbs Sterling

While camping at Smuggler's Notch last weekend, we took a hike out of the notch up to Sterling pond -- elevation 3500 feet.

It's about 1,000 feet up and 2.2 miles. And I had 40 lbs of Robby and Supplies on my back. It took us 2 hours round trip, which is the posted average time. Not too shabby.

Family fun time!

Vacation is a time to spend with family.

The Cloisters

On the way back from Cape May we stopped at the Cloisters in New York City for a little explore. Good times!

So this is it. You can catch a glimpse of it on the Henry Hudson if you look up. And aren't the one driving
