Daily Happy: Groceries, Hats, Special Guests

Daddy and I went to the store. We did some shopping.

I'm helping with the groceries.

Beans!

Found the oven mitt. Daddy's been calling me hermit crab.

Hey! Look who's come to hang with me on the blog:

Hey Robby -- Dylan Here. Chowing on my sammich and chocolate milkies.
That was a nice hat you had on the other night.

Yeah-- it's pretty cute. Thanks Dylan.
But we know the secret is our hair.

Pot Head!

I picked up these ears while in California last week. Absolutely adorable. Got a t-short too. To be faetured later.

Coming to help dad shovel today's snow.

Staying on the path

Looking for the perfect handful of snow to eat

Over here looks good

Hurry up, dad. It's time to go to swim class!

Robby had to sneak a nap before class.

Where's my sock? Trying to put my boots on.

I survived the Blizzard of 2013

I was going to spend a lot of time in this introduction explaining the storm, the 32" of snow we received, and the massive clean up effort. But, since a picture is worth 1,000 words, I've written like 20, 000 words about today below.

He's really into the snow thing

I saw the sign...

By special request from Uncle Gene, here's a list of all the signs Robby knows (or at least the ones we could remember). I'd say 80 percent he has down pat. The rest he thinks he knows, but he can't quite make his hands do what he wants yet, but he gets pretty close. And to save you the effort, there are 100 signs on this list. Special thanks to Signing Time with Alex and Lia (and Uncle Gene and Aunt Becky)!

A guest post from Christina...

Getting ready for swim class.
10. He says “un” for run, and then bounces around the room in a circle.

9. He likes to do deep knee bends and count each one.

8. He can play by himself.

7. He will hold my hand when we walk across a parking lot.

6. He doesn’t cry when I leave him at the drop-off daycare at the gym.

5. He can dance.

4. He loves to be tickled.

3. He loves the vacuum. A lot.

2. He says, “Hug,” and, “Kiss,” at least 50 times a day.

1. Everything.
